The 2020 CX-4 facelift went on sale in China with redesigned bumpers, a new radiator grille and new taillight patterns, while the powertrain was unchanged, with the 2.0 liter Skyactiv engine making 158 hp and the 2.5 liter making 192 hp. The CX-4 of 2020 was in its fifth year, built by FAW Mazda for the Chinese market only. The CX-4 was positioned above the Mazda CX-3. The CX-4 is offered with a choice of two Skyactiv straight-four engines.
