The Minicab of 2020 was in its sixth year as the eighth generation, a rebadged Suzuki Every van and Carry truck, with the electric Minicab MiEV, a van that Japan Post was taking in numbers, still produced by Mitsubishi on the older platform. The Minicab was a kei truck and microvan built and sold in Japan since 1966, and was sold in Japan at the Galant Shop chain. The Minicab was a rebadged Suzuki Carry or Every. The Minicab MiEV remains in production on the old Minicab platform.
