From August 2019 the Rush was made at Astra Daihatsu Motor's Karawang plant as well as Sunter because of high demand. On 15 July 2019 Toyota announced a recall of around 60,000 units of the Indonesian Rush built from December 2017. It was model year 3 of 5 in the Toyota Rush (second generation, F800 and F850), 2017 to present, coming after the 2018 model year and before the 2020 model year.
