The 2019 model year was the last of the seventh generation, and it brought the ZR1, shown at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show, with a supercharged LT5 engine. In January 2019 Chevrolet announced the Drivers Series special edition of the Grand Sport, of which 95 were built. The last C7, a black Z06 coupe, was auctioned for charity on June 28, 2019. The ZR1 had a 6.2 liter supercharged LT5 pushrod V8 and a large rear wing bolted to the chassis, and it went on sale in the second quarter of 2018 with a seven speed manual or an eight speed automatic.
