The 2018 ILX carried on with the 2016 facelift's powertrain, a 201 horsepower 2.4 litre four-cylinder and eight-speed dual-clutch, after the end of the manual transmission, and with an A-Spec trim in the range. In September 2018 Acura revealed the second facelift, which went on the 2019 model, so 2018 was the last year before it.
