The C-HR went on sale in Europe, Australia, South Africa and North America in early 2017. The ASEAN production version was unveiled in Thailand on 30 November 2017, and the C-HR and its Chinese twin, the IZOA, were revealed at the Guangzhou show in November. It was model year 2 of 7 in the Toyota C-HR (first generation, AX10 and AX50), 2016 to 2022, coming after the 2016 model year and before the 2018 model year.
