In June 2017 the Levorg received a facelift. For the exterior, the design of the front grille, front bumper, LED headlamps and LED fog lamp covers was revamped for all grades except the STI Sport. The 2017 season of the BTCC saw Ashley Sutton join the team and win the 2017 British Touring Car Championship in the Levorg. The first Levorg shares its platform with the Impreza, WRX and the Legacy. The name Levorg is a portmanteau of Legacy, revolution and touring.
