The Biante of 2017 was in its tenth year, among the last of the Mazda minivans after the MPV had gone in 2016, an eight seater with the Skyactiv G 2.0 engine and a six speed automatic. The announcement of the end of the minivans of Mazda had been made in 2016, and the Biante and the Premacy were to end on 23 February 2018. The Biante is primarily aimed at younger families with small children. The car fits between the Premacy and MPV in Mazda's range.
