On 30 June 2016 Toyota confirmed that the Ractis reached the end of production for the Japanese, Hong Kong and Macau markets. Sales of the Ractis in Japan ended on 31 August 2016. The Subaru Trezia, a rebadged Ractis, ended with it, after about six years on sale from November 2010. The name Trezia derives from the English word treasure. In New Zealand and parts of Europe the Ractis was rebadged as the Verso-S. The Toyota Ractis is a five seater mini MPV produced by Toyota, based on the Vitz.
