For 2016 a Surround View camera system became an optional extra on the RLX, and the alloy wheels were refinished in a darker gray. The Sport Hybrid, which uses a lithium-ion battery pack behind the rear seat and three electric motors, carried over as the top model, with 250 of the 2016 hybrids having been built in 2015. Both versions shared the aluminum hood, fenders and outer door panels, a double-wishbone front and multilink rear suspension, and 18 inch wheels as standard.
