In July 2015 the 1.3 liter engine option was dropped and a newer 1.5 liter 2NR-FKE engine was used for front wheel drive models, with a fuel efficiency of 22.2 km/L on the JC08 cycle. Beginning in August 2015 the Spade was also exported to Hong Kong and Macau. It was model year 2 of 3 in the Toyota Porte (second generation, XP140), 2012 to 2020, coming after the 2014 model year and before the 2016 model year.
