The eleventh generation Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL and Yukon Denali XL were introduced to the public on September 12, 2013, with the Suburban unveiled in New York and the Yukon XL in Los Angeles. They went on sale in February 2014 as 2015 models, built exclusively in Arlington, Texas on the GMT K2XX platform. In 2015 the Suburban commemorated its 80th anniversary at the Arlington plant, where the ten millionth Suburban was produced.
