In 2014 all Darts except the base SE got standard Uconnect Bluetooth phone connectivity. A Blacktop Package with black alloy wheels and black accents was offered on all models except the SE and Limited, and a California Appearance Package became available for the SXT and Limited. The Dart was the first compact sedan with a rear obstacle detection and blind spot monitoring system. The Dart was a front wheel drive compact sedan built on a platform related to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
