For 2014 the M6 gained a Competition Package, which gave the car a sportier exhaust with black tips, stiffer springs, dampers and anti roll bars, steering more direct than the base car and an updated version of the twin turbocharged V8 engine, rated at 567 horsepower. This was the third M6 generation, built on the F06 Gran Coupe, F12 convertible and F13 coupe, and it was the final car to carry the M6 name.
