For the 2013 model year the Overland Summit trim received Front Park Assist, power folding side mirrors and headlight washers as standard equipment. Jeep also introduced Alpine and Vapor special edition models of the Grand Cherokee SRT8, with production of each model for the United States market limited to 400 units. The Alpine was painted in Bright White and the Vapor in Brilliant Black. It was built at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit.
