The last C6, a white 427 convertible, was completed on February 28, 2013, ending the generation that began in 2005. The Z07 package was still offered on the Z06 in 2013, and the C7 followed as the 2014 Stingray, so the sixth generation stayed in production for nine model years. The 427 Convertible, introduced in early 2012, was the fastest C6 convertible, and the Z06 and ZR1 remained the high performance models until the end.
