The Trezia of 2012 was in its second full year on sale, a rebadged Toyota Ractis mini MPV, five seat, based on the Vitz and offered in Japan and in Europe in left hand drive form. It was not sold in right hand drive markets such as the United Kingdom or Ireland, where the Toyota Verso-S was the equivalent. The name Trezia derives from the English word treasure. In New Zealand and parts of Europe the Ractis was rebadged as the Verso-S.
