The Town and Country of 2010 was affected by a recall that also affected 15,902 2010 Volkswagen Routan vehicles, and the LX trim level was discontinued after 2010, to be reintroduced for 2015 as the base Town and Country. The vans were produced by Chrysler Canada at Windsor Assembly with the 3.8 and 4.0 liter V6 engines before the arrival of the Pentastar in 2011. The Routan, Grand Caravan and Town and Country shared the Windsor line.
