From 2008 to 2010 the midrange Touring trim of the Town and Country added a 4.0 liter V6 engine, a six speed automatic transmission, a touchscreen sound system with rear DVD entertainment system, leather trimmed seating and a nine speaker sound system. The Routan, sold by Volkswagen from fall 2008, was built at Windsor beside the Town and Country, and Chrysler Canada built about 30,000 Routans by early 2009.
