The full Challenger range arrived for 2009 with the SE, R/T and SRT8, plus the SXT in Canada only. The SE had a 250 horsepower 3.5 liter V6, the R/T a 5.7 liter Hemi with the Multi-Displacement System, and the SRT8 kept the 6.1 liter Hemi but could now be had with a manual gearbox. A Rallye package and a retro R/T Classic joined them, and a Drag Race package was built for NHRA competition. The SE and the Canadian only SXT had a 250 horsepower 3.5 liter V6 as the base engine.
