The Passo Sette launched in 2008 beside the Boon Luminas as a seven seat minivan and returned Daihatsu to the minivan class after a four year gap. It had the same 1.5 liter engine and three rows of seats as the first generation Sienta but used the Daihatsu A platform. This was the first model year of the Toyota Passo Sette (single generation, M502 and M512), 2008 to 2012, the first generation covered for the Toyota Passo Sette; the 2009 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Passo Sette run from 2008 to 2012.
