The 2008 Vue was available in four trim levels, the base XE, the midgrade XR, the top of the line Red Line and a Green Line hybrid. The XE included 16 inch wheels and body colored door handles, and the XR trim added chrome door handles and 17 inch alloy wheels. Engine options included a 2.4 liter four, a hybrid 2.4 liter four, a 3.5 liter V6 or a 3.6 liter V6. The 2008 Vue was the first of the second generation, a Mexican built crossover.
