Leather, tire pressure monitoring, lit vanity mirrors and Vehicle Stability Assist were fitted to every 2008 CSX at no extra charge, which retired the base car with cloth seats, since the Civic EX-L now offered leather in Canada. The Premium trim was renamed Technology, adding HID headlights, fog lamps, satellite radio and navigation. The Type-S stayed available because it had features not found in the Civic Si sedan.
