Automobiles

Extended production of the first generation lasted until 2010 for Mazda and until 2012 for Ford in Asia, after mainstream production ended in late 2006. A concept version for Asia, the Escape Adventure Concept, was revealed at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, and the redesigned 2008 Mazda Tribute went on sale in March 2007. In North America the Escape was redesigned for 2008. The Escape Hybrid and the Mariner continued to be sold alongside the redesigned models.
