The Dodge Caliber, with a pre production version that debuted at the 2006 North American International Auto Show and a market launch in March 2006, was a 2007 model year compact hatchback replacing the Dodge Neon. Three models were available at the Caliber's launch, with a fourth available in mid 2006, the SE, SXT, R/T and SRT4. It offered a continuously variable transmission sourced from Jatco, and the SRT4 was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2006.
