For the 2007 model year a new console was implemented on the SRX, V8 models received a six speed automatic transmission, and the base audio system was changed to Bose. For the 2006 model year the power tailgate and satellite radio had become standard. The SRX was a Cadillac luxury crossover in the middle of its first generation.
