The mildcharged option disappeared for good in June 2006, after the arrival of the Stella, which took over the upper part of the kei range of Subaru. The Pleo of 2006 stayed on sale as the plain naturally aspirated tall wagon, in its eighth year, competing with the Honda Life, the Daihatsu Move and the Mitsubishi Toppo. The name pleo is Latin meaning to fill or to fulfill. The Pleo was available with a variety of 658 cc I4 engines: SOHC, DOHC, and supercharged in two different trim levels.
