In 2005, for the 2006 model year, an Elite package for the Ultimate trim level was made available, including a DVD based satellite navigation system with voice activated touch screen, a THX audio system, a rear seat DVD entertainment system and HID headlights. The 2006 Navigator was also shown in the third generation form at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2006, ahead of its release for 2007. It was built at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.
