Ford Australia continued the use of the Ford Courier name on the Mazda built compact pickup, selling it through 2006 in Australia and New Zealand, the last place the Mazda based Courier was sold. In Brazil the Fiesta based Courier carried on as a coupe utility. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans. It began as a sedan delivery, became a Mazda built compact pickup, and later a Fiesta based van and coupe utility.
