The 1.6 litre Courier of 2005 had a top speed of 180 kilometres per hour and could accelerate from nought to one hundred kilometres per hour in ten seconds. It was a Fiesta based coupe utility built in Brazil, with a front end like that of the Fiesta based Bantam made in South Africa. It began as a sedan delivery, became a Mazda built compact pickup, and later a Fiesta based van and coupe utility. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans.
