In 2006 Chrysler began producing the SRT Design package for the 300C, which combined the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 with the refinements and sports setup of the SRT8, while the SRT8 itself had the 6.1 liter Hemi with 425 horsepower and went from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds. The Heritage Edition 300C debuted that year with styling cues from the letter series cars of the 1950s and 1960s, and the extended wheelbase Executive Series 300 was shown at the 2006 New York auto show.
