For the 2005 model year Chrysler replaced its Easy Out removable rear seats with Stow N Go seating, in which the second and third row seats fold into the floor, and the Town and Country added a large rectangular eggcrate grille borrowing design elements from the PT Cruiser. The Dodge Caravan was updated alongside, and the LXi trim of the Town and Country became the Touring for 2005. Production remained at Windsor Assembly, where the Chrysler and Dodge versions of the van were both built.
