The redesigned 2004 Sienna grew to match its competitors, with 45 percent more volume overall, and used a 3.3 liter V6 with a five speed automatic. The gear lever moved from the steering column to the console, seating for eight was optional, and all 2004 to 2007 models had a tow package with a 3,500 pound rating. This was the first model year of the Toyota Sienna (second generation, XL20), 2004 to 2010, which took over from the Toyota Sienna (first generation, XL10); the 2005 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Sienna run from 1998 to 2025.
