On 20 December 2004 the Premio received a modest restyle with the introduction of LED tail lights. The Premio and Allion kept their exterior dimensions through periodic updates, as compact cars by Japanese regulation. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Premio (first generation, T240), 2001 to 2006, and the Toyota Premio (second generation, T260) came next, following the 2003 model year.
