Production of the Traviq ended in Japan in December 2004, with the end of the Zafira production at the GM Thailand plant. The Traviq of 2004 was in its fourth year, a seven seater of Subaru with a long distance cruise ability, and it was the car that is said to have triggered the Opel brand to withdraw from sales in Japan, because it sold badly from the start together with the other Opel cars. Subaru tuned the suspension of the Traviq and added its own aero parts and 16 inch alloy wheels to the S package.
