2003 Ford C-Max

Automobiles

The C-Max arrived in 2003 as the Focus C-Max, the first car to use the new Ford C1 platform. It followed a show car of the same name from the 2002 Paris show, and Ford had restarted development to give it seven seats after seeing the Opel Zafira, though the production car seated five. A longer seven seat version called the Grand C-Max sat above it in the range. The C-Max was a five door compact people carrier that Ford built on the same platform as the Focus.
