The high security 760Li was introduced at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, with the 745Li high security model released in September 2003, and the maps of the iDrive system switched to DVD format in March 2003 with a faster processor and Menu and Customisable buttons. The Alpina B7 was unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, to be built from February 2004. The Geneva show of 2003 introduced the 760Li as a high security car.
