2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Automobiles

In mid 2002 the GTS trim was introduced for the 2003 model year, with the 3.0 liter V6 later improved for the GTS and GT/GTS Spyder. The Eclipse of 2002 was in the third year of the third generation, available as the RS with the 2.4 liter four and the GT with the 3.0 liter V6 of 200 horsepower, as a coupe and the Spyder convertible, on the platform shared with the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Stratus. The Mitsubishi Eclipse was named after an unbeaten 18th century English racehorse that won 18 races in a row.
