2002 Jeep Wrangler

The AMC straight four cylinder engine was retired after the 2002 model year. The 2002 model year also brought the radio bezel as a plain rectangle, which changed to a rounded edged rectangle for 2003, and the X trim came standard with the 4.0 liter engine. The Sport and Sahara cars came with the 4.0 liter six, the X trim was new for 2002 and also had the 4.0 liter as standard, and manual and automatic transmissions both continued.
