2002 Ford E-Series

Automobiles

The E 150 Traveler, which replaced the Chateau trim for 2001, was dropped after the 2002 model year because of low sales. In 2002 Ford introduced the E 550 Super Duty, the highest rated version of the E Series with gross weights up to 19,000 pounds, offered as a cutaway only. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis. It was the best selling full size van in the United States from 1980 until the Transit replaced the vans in 2014.
