1998 Toyota Crown

Automobiles

By 1998 the Lexus GS, which had been the Toyota Aristo at its debut in 1991, partly succeeded the Crown in export markets while sharing its platform and powertrain choices. At home the S150 was in its last full year before the S170 arrived in September 1999. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Crown (tenth generation, S150), 1995 to 1998, and the Toyota Crown (eleventh generation, S170) came next, following the 1997 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
