The JXi Limited trim of the Sebring convertible was introduced for 1998 and continued through 2000, joining the JX and JXi. The coupe was offered in LX and LXi trims, and the LXi benefited from rear sway bars, a slightly different tuned fully independent suspension and 17 inch wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle performance tires. The coupe received a 5 star frontal safety rating. Both body styles were also sold in export markets.
