The division of General Motors in Australia marketed the vehicles as a Holden Suburban between February 1998 and January 2001, with various minor changes beyond the conversion to right hand drive, and GM withdrew the model from Holden's lineup in 2000 because sales were low. OnStar was added to the Suburban in 1998. In 2019 Chevrolet considered bringing the Suburban back to the Australian region as a converted right hand drive import through Holden Special Vehicles, but chose to hold off on those plans.
