A CD player was a new option for the 1997 Voyager, and otherwise there were only minimal changes. Distinguished by a dark gray eggcrate grille, the Voyager used matte gray bumpers across all trim levels, with matte gray side moldings and no fog lights as an option. To reduce overlap the LE trim had been discontinued in the United States in favor of an expanded Town and Country range, and the Voyager kept the base and SE.
