1997 Mazda 626

Automobiles

The sixth generation Capella arrived in 1997 on the GF platform, with the Cronos name retired and the Capella, 626 and Telstar once again sharing a common platform. In August 1997 the Capella was replaced by the new GF model, the same as the 626 outside North America. The North American 626, introduced in 1997 for the 1998 model year, was built in Michigan and was different. The Capella station wagon was available until November 1997.
