The first revisions to the 600 Series came in 1996, which included a slightly revised interior with a padded front arm rest and separate rear head rests, and all models apart from the ti had 15 inch wheels, a high level brake light and a new alarm and immobiliser system. In May 1996 Rover recalled 21,634 600 Series built between December 1994 and December 1995 to check a potential steering rack fault.
