1996 Mazda Millenia

Automobiles

The Millenia in 1996 was in its second year in North America, the Miller cycle engine Millenia S still being named among Ward's 10 Best Engines, and its fourth year overall, sold as the Xedos 9 in Europe and the Eunos 800 in Japan and Australia. The Eunos 800 had optional yaw sensitive four wheel steering in Japan, which Mazda said let it pass the elk test at speeds comparable to the BMW 850i. It was engineered to higher perceived quality than mainstream Mazdas, with better interior plastics, smaller panel gaps and a thicker paint coat.
