1996 Lincoln Town Car

Automobiles

For 1996 the climate controls were redesigned, and Cartier Designer Editions featured genuine wood trim on the dashboard and door panels. The Diamond Anniversary Edition of the Signature Series commemorated Lincoln's 75th anniversary, and the Cypress Edition had Cypress Gold Frost exterior paint and a two toned leather interior. Following the discontinuation of the Cadillac Fleetwood after 1996, the Town Car became the longest regular production sedan sold in the United States.
