1995 Mazda Bongo

Automobiles

The Bongo Friendee was introduced in June 1995, based on the SG platform, which is not a cabover design. The Bongo of 1995 was in its thirteenth year of the third generation, the cabover van, also sold by Nissan as the Vanette and as the Ford Spectron in Asia, while the Friendee was a separate, passenger oriented model. It also formed the basis for the long running Kia Bongo range. The Bongo was also known as the Ford Econovan and Eunos Cargo, and it has been built with rear, middle and front mounted engines.
