The 1995 model year had a one year only model called the Mustang GTS, a stripped down GT that kept the performance parts of the GT but few non-performance features, much like the 5.0 LX of the Fox body era. It was also the last year of the 5.0 liter pushrod V8, which had been in the Mustang line since 1968. The Cobra of 1994 and 1995 had its own shocks, struts and springs and larger front brake discs with Cobra lettering on the calipers.
